The Gallivant is a coastal Restaurant with Rooms opposite Camber Sands, looking onto the sea grass fringed dunes. We're just over an hour from Central London and a five minutes' drive from the quintessentially English town of Rye, with its cobbled streets, eclectic mix of chic boutiques, art galleries and antiques shops.

The sand between your toes. Sky and beach as far as your eyes can see. Wonderful food made with love. Deeply comfortable beds in beautifully thought out bedrooms. Daily yoga and wellness classes. A mini Bamford Spa.

Nico and his team prepare and cook food with a genuine love and respect for the ingredients. You’ll find fresh ingredients from the surrounding land and sea and a wine list stocked with stunning English wine.

The Bamford Cabin, set in a peaceful corner of the coastal garden, is a deeply relaxing, serene space. We have partnered with the Bamford Wellness Spa and are using their natural, organic products exclusively.

Yoga classes are open to all levels of ability; no previous experience is required.

On the scenic East Sussex coast, Camber Sands is only 10-min drive away from the ancient town of Rye, surrounded by many award-winning wineries, and offering various sport activities.
